Do you recommend getting ready at our venue or hotel?
Getting ready photos are a huge part of the process. I highly recommend my clients to look at the space they will be getting ready at whether it is at the venue or offsite: Does it have good natural light, is it a space they feel good in without clutter on the walls, and are there windows to allow in sunlight. If you feel your venue may not be a good fit, an AirBnB or a nice spacious hotel room with large windows are always great options for getting ready in.
What happens after we book you for our wedding?
First, we do a happy dance bc our paths align perfectly!
I'll then send over a Wedding Planning Guide I've written for you which is filled with tips & tricks to get the best wedding photos. You're free to text me/send a pigeon carrier whenever you like.
If you've also booked an Engagement Session than we'll start to plan that based on your style and vibe you're going for.
A couple months before your wedding, I'll send over your wedding questionnaire and hit every single detail together.
What's your style?
As a storyteller, I want to photograph all the real stuff and love in all forms - the tender in-between moments, the vulnerable bits, and allll the JOY.
I have a 'natural' approach but you'll find that you'll still need some directing. I'll tell you where to stand so the light will fall beautifully on your face and give you prompts, but it will be pretty much spontaneous from there.
Couples / engagement shoots involves a TON of movement and interacting with each other to get those candid photojournalistic images, rather than having you focus on the camera.
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes, I offer a range of physical print products and wedding albums to beautifully showcase your cherished memories. While wedding albums are included in some of my packages, you can always customize your collection by adding these items to any package. From stunning wall art to timeless albums, I'm here to help you preserve your special day in tangible, lasting keepsakes.
What is your booking process and deposit requirement?
The booking process is designed to make securing your wedding date as seamless as possible. Once we've had our initial meeting and determined that we're a good fit for each other, I'll send over a contract outlining all the details of our agreement. Upon signing the contract, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required to officially reserve your wedding date. Bookings are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so once your deposit is received, your date is securely booked. I'm here to guide you through every step of the process and ensure that your wedding photography experience is stress-free and enjoyable.
Do you have backup equipment in case of technical issues?
Absolutely. I know how important it is to be fully prepared for any situation that may arise during your wedding day. That's why I always have backup equipment on hand in case of a technical problem. From extra camera bodies and lenses to backup memory cards and batteries, I ensure that I have redundancy in place to seamlessly handle any unforeseen circumstances. Your peace of mind is my priority, and I'm committed to delivering exceptional service, no matter what. I also offer a second professional photographer, who not only captures different angles, but is also a backup for unforeseen circumstances.
Do you offer engagement sessions as part of your packages?
Absolutely! Engagement sessions are a fantastic addition to your wedding photography package. While they are included in my top-tier package, they are also available at a discounted rate for other wedding packages. Engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know each other better and build a rapport before your wedding. In turn, this helps you feel more comfortable in front of the camera, resulting in more natural and relaxed photos on your wedding day.
How do I book you?
If you know that YOU WANT ME, first fill in my contact form. Include as much detail as possible to help our consult call go smoothly (if you already know which package you want than include it!). Once you've signed the contract and paid the non-refundable retainer than YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS BOOKED!
